We were tasked with creating a new logo for Region V, and it had to meet the following criteria:

The new logo had to be versatile, with the ability to use at a range of sizes, from a social media and mobile browsers to apparel and stationery. It also had to communicate to the target market: Emergency Management Professionals (private and public), Healthcare partners, Fire/EMS, Law Enforcement.

The chosen logo combines elements of the Maryland flag to create a health-cross in the negative space at the center of the icon.

Website Design & Development

The blue color scheme of the website allows for the bright, warm colors of the emergency photography to take center stage and garner attention. For the interior pages, we tried to break up the headlines and subheadlines to turn them into their own graphic elements. Offsetting these headlines to the left allows the user to quickly scan for relevant information.
